This was the project where I made the switch from analog tape to computer recording, and I remember being stymied a lot.

I had a basement studio and would spend long periods of time staring at the ceiling, in this case, the floorboards (hence the title), frustrated at my technological stupidity.

Guests included: Craig Carothers, Tim Ellis, McKinley, Nancy Hess, Little Sue, Paul Brainard, Jeff Leonard, Aaron Meyer, and Gregg Williams.

Toki Wolf did the artwork and design.

McKinley appears courtesy of Samson Records.

Tattoo art by Saad, Todd, and Wondo.

Big thanks:

Gregg Williams - Fellow basement dweller. Anything that has a...well, you know.

Nancy Hess - Gee, it's true...chicks really can rock HARD!!

Tim Ellis - My Dark Brother.

Toki Wolf - Everything sounds better with a Mexican accent.

CB - An honorary Mexican.

Thanks again to all the musicians who played on this thing. Cheers!

Also to the lovely Kim Johnson, Sandy Bodecker and Poundhouse Studio, Al-Amir Restaurant, Barbara Walker, Lucille and Dick Walker, Bessy Walker, Don Schlossman, Eric Hill, Tony Kienitz, Scott Connor, Bryant Arnett, Mary Sherman, Todd Janecezek, and the always awesome and inspiring, Mr. Consistency Nature.

Benjy Wertheimer - A guy who worked his ass off on this and ended yup on the cutting room floor. Sorry, man...can I make it up to you? How about a Spaniard?
