DAYLIGHT

Here’s the sunrise that I know so well. Looks like the gates of Hell.

Stare at clouds as my forever burns. I watch the planets turn.

But everybody in here shuts their eyes and dreams their little lies.

I just sit in this chair growing old. With my future told.

Daylight - I can’t keep you out.

You're crawling through the window now.

Black night’s just a memory.

And it’s fades so fast.

Sounds like the rain outside won’t stop. I hear it drum and drop.

And the wind is up to its old tricks. Licking at the bricks.

Thunder comes up with the boom and crash. And then a punch and flash.

That vision shakes my aching head. I see the sky’s still red.

And now this messenger will self-destruct.

Good night and best of luck.

Daylight - I can’t keep you out.

You're crawling through the window now.

Black night’s just a memory.

And it’s fades so fast.

Daylight - I can’t keep you out.

You're crawling through the window now.

Black night’s just a memory.

And it’s fades so fast.

And it’s fades so fast.

And it’s fades so fast.
