NIGHTFALL

Floating through the dusk, alone.

Trees reach up to touch my bones.

And I move past the clouds away from home.

With a summer moon rising.

Lived a thousand years or so. 

Time spills out and overflows.

Now I’m listening to the radio.

And dreaming of sundown.

Nightfall. Wind begins to blow.

And everything starts to breathe.

Silence becoming stereo.

white light on your pale skin.
