A BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THIS ALBUM:

I’ve been making albums since 1986.

In that time I’ve released:

 

1 Single

12 Ep’s (Extended Play Singles)

32 Full-Length Albums

and 

11 Live Albums with my dear dead friend, Tim Ellis.

 

Is that a lot? I don’t know.

It’s just what I do.

Is the work good? I don’t know.

That’s up to you.

 

I’m a natural big mouth. 

So it seems I always have something to say (too much probably) about every record I release.

I do my best to include some little descriptive offering to go along with the work in order to help you, Lovely Listener, understand where my head was at when I made the record.

 

Well, regarding Doll House…I have absolutely nothing to say.

I can’t think of a damn thing. 

Stymied.

Maybe it’s because Doll House and it’s companion piece, the EP Hemlock (released a few months ago) are, hands down, the two most personal albums I’ve ever made.

​

I’ll say this:

The two albums go together;

Hemlock being the emotional aftermath of Doll House, even though the EP was released beforehand.

​

Is that starting to get confusing? Maybe so.

Perhaps that’s why in the case of Doll House, it may be best to just let the music do the talking.
